12/06/2004: Vindaloo is currently on a humanitarian mission for the Non-for-profit, ARZU to film and assist in the development of this project. Our mission is part of the human reconstruction of Afghanistan. We will be enrolling disadvantaged women of Afghanistan into our "weaving for hope" program. The program provides income, education, and healthcare to our registered weavers. We are truly honored to be a part of this noble cause. 08/15/2004: the Vindaloo crew is in Kabul where it continues to document the carpet production process as it also reconnects with friends made during the shooting of "Welcome to Kabul City". The crew will then be in Mazar al Sharif on august 17th followed by small towns and villages all along the Uzbek border.
